From the desk of Father Moser

Archbishop Michael Jackels has taken the following steps aimed at slowing down the spread of the coronavirus: 1} All public celebrations of Holy Mass are canceled until further notice - beginning on 19 March 2020. All Catholics in the Archdiocese of Dubuque are dispensed from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass. 2] The Archbishop will live stream a celebration of Holy Mass each Sunday, as well as the Chrism Mass on April 7 (and the Sacred Triduum, if the situation has not changed by the), and will lead the Rosary each week on Thursday. Visit www.DBQArch.org for more information about these live streamed events. 3} Funerals, Weddings and Baptism may be held, but limited to the immediate family, or at least no more than 50 people present, according to the current CDC guidelines. 4] All the faithful of the Archdiocese are invited to join in a day of fast, abstinence, and prayer (like we do on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday) on next Wednesday, March 25. This is completely voluntary; no one is obligated or mandated to make these sacrifices.
MASS SCHEDULE in HFB - Until further notice I will celebrate or offer a daily private Mass for your intentions and for the intention listed in the bulletin. NO public SUNDAY or WEEKDAY MASS.
Stations of the Cross will be held (as originally scheduled) only when Father Moser can lead them. This will be listed in the bulletin and on the website.
NO faith formation classes in Harpers Ferry or in Lansing on Wednesdays until further notice.
Sunday Bulletin will be available in entrances of church, on the HFB website, or in box outside of church [Lansing and New Albin only].
